Buttonholes, the one part of a wedding that causes more upset and fall outs than anything else. I've seen Brides and Grooms fallout over them, future Mother-in-laws throw hissy fits about them and now Bridesmaids sobbing over them. So this is my suggestion if your not rockafella and haven't got the means to buy everyone a buttonhole be sensible. Make a list of your main bridal party;Groom, Bestmen/women,Ushers, Parents, Grandparents and Siblings; then decide if they have significant others who you feel should have a buttonhole.Does one of your Bridesmaids have a partner who should have one ? ......after that I would say its up to you and your budget. You can see where I am going can't you, buttonholes have this ability to become this huge , every growing monster..... if Aunty Ethel has one then everyone's Aunty will expect one !!! Sit down together , make a list, talk to your family if your on a budget maybe they will be happy to pay for their own but most of all don't be bullied into buying everyone one, unless you really, really want to and can afford it.
