Christmas Wreath Workshops 2017

06 October 2017We will be holding two Christmas wreath workshops this year; Wednesday 29th November and Wednesday 6th December from 6-9pm here at Roses Florist. Places are limited. You will be shown how to make your own Christmas wreath which you can take home and we will give you the option to use it as a door wreath, memorial wreath or even as a table centre......cost is £30 per person with all materials supplied to make your wreath and light refreshments and nibbles. Macmillan Coffee Morning .....

30 September 2017So yesterday ....and actually this morning too we have managed to raise £420 for Macmillan Cancer following yesterday's coffee morning. Unfortunately I didn't get chance to take any pictures this year was so hectic but we had loads of fun and it was lovely to see so many of you here in the shop. Macmillan Coffee Morning 2017

01 September 2017Our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held on Friday 29th September, 10 am until 2pm but you know us the kettle stay on till the cakes are gone!! We are having our tombola and all proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer research. Lonely Bouquet 2017

19 June 2017So this year Lonely Bouquet day falls on Sunday 25th June, as usual we will be taking part so keep an eye out over Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June for our little bouquets.......its very warm so if this keeps up we may weel change to plants and small arrangements but either way they will need a home. Bank Holiday Approaching

There are several bank holidays approaching both here and in Holland, the dutch ones will affect our flower orderung but not affect you....we will make sure we are carrying our usual lovely varieties of flowers and plants for you. The Whitsun bank holiday is Monday 29th May and our shop willbe closed, accept for 30 minutes or so at around 9am for a special collection of flowers. What's Happening.....

10 May 2017We are currently half way through altering the shelving in the shop, going a bit more rustic with crates etc. The next step is to get new flooring.....those of you who visit us may have noticed parts of the floor hidden under mats......its cracking up, bit like me !!!!!! Bank Holiday UK

18 April 2017Just a quick note regarding our Bank Holidays here in the UK. We close on bank holidays, Easter bank holiday we close for to days because we don't have Good Friday so we have Tuesday instead. Any bank holiday means our fresh flowers are delivered a day later than usual, this then affects how soon we can resume business as usual.... our webshop is set up to take this into account. So unfortunately if our webshop is telling you we can not deliver until a certain day then I am afraid there is very little we can do....we never deliver old flowers!! Read More
